What this is
receipts.cv interviews you about your career, keeps a record of what you actually
did, finds open roles that fit it, and writes a tailored resume and cover letter for
each one you choose — along with a straight answer about where you genuinely fall
short. Nothing gets written that your own record can’t back up.

Things that are on purpose
Why can’t I edit my record directly?
Your career record is only written through an interview, so
every line in it has a source. To correct something, say so in any interview stage —
the correction is kept, attributed to that conversation. This is the property that
makes your documents defensible.
Why does the interview take a while?
That’s where the material comes from. Ten minutes gets
the summary you already have; the longer conversation gets the specific project, the
number attached to it, and why it was hard. You can leave and come back — it picks up
where you stopped.
Where do the jobs come from?
Employers’ own career boards, read directly — not
aggregator copies. If a role shows here, it was on the company’s own site when
we last checked, and the check time is shown.
What does it cost?
During pre-alpha, nothing. It runs on frontier AI models that
cost real money, so the trade is blunt feedback — "Something wrong?" sits at the top
of every page.
Your data
Everything is exportable and deletable from
your account —
real buttons, not requests. Deletion destroys the encryption keys, so it is immediate
and irreversible. The details live in the
privacy policy; if you’d rather ask a
person, the email above reaches one.
